Fish Gravy with Coconut Flavor

Fish 1/2 kg (I used salmon)
Onion 1 big size
Tomato 2
garlic paste 1 spn
Fenugreek seeds powder 1/2 spn
Curry leaves few
Mustard seeds 1/2 spn
Turmeric 1/2 spn
Chilli powder 2 spn or 1 spn (depends on spice level)
Corriander powder 2 spn
Fennel seeds powder 1 spn
Tamarind juice 1 cup
Grated Coconut 1 cup
Salt as needed
Coconut oil 3 spn

Cut n clean the fish with turmeric..
Grind coconut into a fine paste with little water..
Heat pan
Add oil
Add mustard, fenugreek seeds powder, curry leaves one by one..
Fry for a while then add onion..
When it turns into golden brown add green chillies and garlic paste..
Fry until raw smells leaves..
Add turmeric, chilli powder, corriander powder, Fennel seeds powder, and salt..
Add tomatoes fry until mushy..
Now add tamarind juice..
Cook until oil separate from gravy..
Add Coconut paste..
Adjust the water level for ur preferred consistency
Let it boil well..
Once it started boiling add fish pieces
Turn the flame into medium
Chk salt
Once fish cooked well turn off the heat..

Serve hot..,.

Fish Gravy Village Style

Fish 1/2 kg (I used Salmon)

Ginger 1 inch thinly sliced
Garlic pods 4 to 5 thinly sliced
Curry leaves few
Red chillies 2
Fenugreek seeds 1 spn
Mustard seeds 1/2 spn
Tamarind juice 1 cup adjust as per your taste
Salt as required
Oil 3 spn

For fresh masala
Onion 1 big size
Tomato 2
Ginger garlic paste 1 spn or fresh ginger and garlic little bit
Chilli powder 2 spn
Turmeric 1/2 spn
Corriander powder 3 spn
Grated coconut 1 cup
Curry leaves few

Cut and clean the fish and keep aside..
Heat a pan..
Add 2 spn of oil
Add in onions fry until translucent..
Add ginger garlic paste fry for few minutes..
Add in tomatoes fry until mushy..
Add in spice powders.. fry until raw smell leaves..
Add in coconut fry for a while..
Cool it completely.. grind it into a smooth paste..
Mix the tamarind juice with the masala..
Keep aside..

Heat a pan..
Add oil
Followed by mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds and curry leaves..
Add in red chilies, ginger and garlic slices..
Fry until it turns brown..
Add in onion..
Fry little bit..
Add the fresh masala..
Add salt..
Check the salt and tanginess.. adjust as per the taste..
Once it started boiling after the raw smell leaves from gravy add in the fish pieces..
Keep the flame into medium flame..
Cover and cook for about 7 to 10 minutes..
Don’t overcook the fish..
Turn off and serve with hot rice..
It will be more tastier the next day..
It goes with idli ,dosa or even with chapati or parota too..

Cat fish fry

Cat fish 500 g
Chilli powder 1 spn
Turmeric 1/4 spn
Salt as required
Lemon juice 1/2 spn optional
Ginger garlic paste 2 spn
Fish fry masala if u hav 1 spn optional
Or garam masala 1/2 spn optional
Oil for frying

Clean the fish
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl
No need of water
Just sprinkle if required
Marinate the fish with the paste
Leave it for atleast 1 hr
Fry it in oil until golden brown
Serve with sliced onions and lemon

I used sesame oil ( nallennai)
It gives more tasty especially for fish fry

Fish gravy

Tomato 2 finely chopped
Chilli powder 2 spn
Turmeric 1/2 spn
Corriander powder 2 spn
Fenugreek powder 1 spn
Salt
Tamarind juice 1 cup depends ur taste adjust it
Oil 2 spn
For seasoning mustard, curry leaves, green chilli 1, jeera

Clean the fish with lime juice

Heat a pan
Add oil and add seasoning items
Fry few mins
Add onion
Fry until golden brown
Add chilli powder, turmeric, corriander powder, fenugreek powder
Fry well
Add tomatoes
Fry until it becomes mushy
Add salt and tamarind juice
Add required water.. dont add much the gravy shd not watery
When the gravy boiling add fish pieces
Cook in medium flame until oil separate from the gravy..

Easy fish curry with coconut milk

Fish

Fish 500 g ( i used tilapia)
Onion 2
Tomato 2
Ginger 1 inch
Garlic 4 pods
Coconut milk 1 cup
Tamarind juice 1 cup
Turmeric 1/2 spn
Chilli powder 2 spn
Corriander powder 2 spn
Fenugreek powder 1 spn
Salt
Mustard 1/4 spn
Curry leaves few

Grind onion tomato ginger garlic as smooth paste
Heat a cooking vessel
Add 2 spn oil
Add mustard and curry leaves
Now add the grounded paste
Add all spice powders
Cook for until raw smell leaves
Add coconut milk now
Bring the gravy to boil
Now add tamarind juice
Add fish also now
Check the salt and spice tanginess
Adjust if needed
Cook in medium flame until oil separate from gravy
Garnish with coriander leaves (optional)

Yummy easy fish curry ready…
Serve with rice or any tiffin items 😋😋😋

Fish chilli in airfryer

Fish chilli

Fish 1/2 kg (i used tilapia)
Rice flour 2 spn
Corn flour 3 spn
Chilli powder 2 spn or less
Cumin powder 1/2 spn or fennel seeds powder 1/2 spn optional
Turmeric 1 pinch
Egg 1
Ginger garlic paste 1 spn
Salt as required
Oil for spraying
Sliced onion and lemon for garnishing

Cut and clean the fish..
Mix rice flour, corn flour , chili powder, turmeric, ginger garlic paste, egg and salt.
Mix well..
Add the fish pieces mix it..
Keep it marinated for 30 minutes minimum..
Deep fry in oil or air fry 390 deg for 10 to 13 minutes..
Flip gently once.. spray oil in between..

Serve hot with sliced onions and cut lemon…
