Potato Peas Curry

Potato 3 big
Peas 1/2 cup (frozen or fresh)
Tomato 2 to 3 roughly chopped
Onion 2 to 3 roughly chopped
Green chillies 4 to 5 finely chopped
Cumin seeds 1 spn
Corriander powder 1 spn
Dry Kasuri methi leaves 1 spn
Kashmiri chilli powder 1/4 spn optional
Oil 3 to 4 spn
Salt as required
Corriander leaves for garnishing

Peel the potato skin ..
Cut into dices and put it in water ..
Keep aside..
Heat a pan..
Add oil
Add Cumin seeds..
Once it start splattering keep the flame low..
Add onion saute for 30 seconds..
Add peas fry for 1 minutes..
Add green chillies too..
Add potatoes mix once..
Add tomatoes ,Corriander powder ,and kashmiri chilli powder ..
Add salt too..
Add water until it covers the curry..
Approximately 1 to 2 cups..
Cover and cook for 20 to 25 minutes in medium low flame..
Meanwhile dry fry the kasuri methi leaves..
Keep aside..
Once potatoes cooked well add the kasuri methi leaves..
Mix well.. cook for few minutes until the gravy reach its consistency..
Garnish with corriander leaves..
Serve hot..
Good combo with rice, chapathi, poori etc..

Dried Peas Dosa

Dried peas 1 cup
Raw rice 1 cup
Urad dhal 1/4 cup
Red chilies 3 to 5
Ginger 1 inch optional
Cumin seeds 2 spn
Black pepper 1 spn
Oil for making dosa
Salt as required

Soak peas, rice and urad dhal overnight..
Grind it with red chilies, cumin seeds, Black pepper and ginger as smooth dough..
Add water if required..
Add salt..
Maks it as dosa batter consistency..

Heat a dosa pan
Spread the batter .. make it as thin dosa..
Spreay oil..
Cook in medium flame..
Flip once one side is done..
Once its cooked both sides fold it ..
Serve hot with desired chutney or sambar..
Can Sprinkle finely chopped onions and green chillies on top of dosa..

Peas coconut milk pulav

Peas 1/2 cup
Basmati rice 1 cup
Coconut milk 1/2 cup
Onion 1 thinly sliced
Mint Corriander leaves 1/4 few
Green chillies 3
Oil 3 spn
Cinnamon 1 piece
Cloves 2
Cardamom 2
Salt as required
Ghee 1 spn

Wash and Soak basmati rice for 30 minutes..
Heat a pan..
Add oil..
Add Cinnamon, cloves and Cardamom..
Add onions fry until golden brown..
Add mint and Corriander leaves fry until nice aroma turns out..
Add green chillies and peas..
Saute well..
Add Coconut milk and a cup of water.
Add salt too..
When it started boiling add rice..
Cover and cook for 15 to 20 minutes in low flame..
Once its done add ghee at the end..
Mix gently..
Serve hot with spicy gravy or raitha..

Add oil

Veg Cutlet

Potato 2
Carrot beans peas cauliflower
Any veggies of ur choice 1 cup
Ginger paste1 spn
Chopped corriander leaves few
Chilli powder 1 spn
Salt
Besan flour 3 spn
Bread gram 1 cup

Oil for shallow fry

Pressure cook all veggies
Mash well
Add salt, corriander leaves, ginger paste, chilli powder, salt, and bread gram mix well
Make it as dough
Leave some bread gram for coating

Now take small amount of dough make a shape u desire
Dip in besan ( mix besan with water)
Now coat with bread gram
Shallow fry until it turns golden brown on both sides..
Serve with chutney or ketchup ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹

If the dough is watery add poha( aval) powderโ€ฆ

Tawa peas pulav

Peas 1 cup
Basmati rice 1 cup
Cinnamon 1 inch
Cloves 3
Cardamom 2
Bay leaves 1
Mint corriander leaves 1/2 cup finely chopped
Salt
Onion 1
Green chilies 3
Ginger garlic paste 1 spn
Ghee 1 spn

Heat a non stick pan
Add oil
Add cinnamon, bay leaves,cloves, cardamom
Add onions fry until translucent
Add ginger garlic paste
Green chilies too
Fry well
Add peas and mint corriander leaves
Fry for few mins
Add rice
Add water for 1 cup rice two cups of tea water
Add salt
Cover and cook in medium flame
Mix one or two times while cooking
Add ghee when 70% done
Cook in low flame until water evaporates
Switch off the flame
Once done cover the pan and leave it for five minsโ€ฆ

Serve hot with raitha or any gravyโ€ฆ

Dried Green Peas Potato Gravy

Peas 1 cup soak atleast for 4 hrs
Potato 1
Onion 1
Tomato 1
Ginger garlic paste 1 spn
Green chilies 2
Cinnamon 1 inch
Cloves 3
Cardamom 1
Bay leaves 1
Chilli powder 1 spn
Turmeric 1/2 spn
Garam masala 1 spn
Corriander powder 1 spn
Salt as required
Oil 2 spn
Coriander leaves for garnishing

Pressure cook peas and potato together

Heat a pan
Add oil
Add cinnamon, bay leaves, cloves, cardamom
Add onion and green chilies
Fry onion turns brown
Add ginger garlic paste fry well
Add tomatoes
Add turmeric, chilli powder, corriander powder, garam masala and salt
Fry until raw smell leaves from the gravy
Add pressure cooked peas potato
Cook in medium flame for 10 mins

Garnish with coriander leaves

Gd combo for chapathi or pulavโ€ฆ

Tawa Peas Biriyani with Leftover rice

Leftover rice 2 cups or cooked rice
Onion 1
Tomato 1
Ginger garlic paste 1 spn
Frozen Peas 1 cup
Biriyani powder or pulav masala 1 spn optional
Just for flavor
Chilli powder 2 spn
Corriander powder 1 spn
Salt as required
Corriander leaves for garnishing
Rusk 4 cut into dice optional
Oil or ghee 2 spn

Heat oil or ghee in a tawa..
Add onion fry for 1 minute
Add ginger garlic paste fry until raw smell leaves..
Add in all spice powders and salt..
Fry few minutes
Add tomatoes now..
Fry until mushy..
Add peas and check salt..
Cook until peas cooked fully
Add cooked rice mix gently..
Add in rusk cook for 1 more minute..
Garnish with coriander leaves..
I used biriyani powder to get the flavor of biriyani.. can skip it..
