Paneer Masala Roti

Paneer finely grated 1 cup
Wheat flour 3 cup
Ginger finely chopped 1 spn
Corriander leaves few
Cumin seeds 1 spn
Green chillies 2 to 3 finely chopped
Salt as required
Oil as required

In a mixing bowl add all ingredients except oil..
Add water little by little and knead it into a tight dough like chapathi dough..
Apply oil on the dough..
Keep it covered..
Let it sit for 10 minutes..
Make small balls ..
Roll it into thin roti’s..

Heat a tawa..
Cook the roti’s on the both sides ..
Sprinkle oil on both sides..
Remove from the tawa once its done..
Serve hot with desired gravy …

Wheat Rava Dhal Kichidi

Wheat rava 1 cup
Moong dhal 1 cup
Onion 1 thinly sliced
Tomato 2 or 1 big chopped
Ginger garlic paste 1 spn
Mixed veggies chopped to 2 cups (carrots, beans,potato,cauliflower, peas,any choice)
Cumin seeds 1 spn
Whole black pepper 1 spn
Green chillies 2
Curry leaves few
Turmeric powder 1/4 spn
Chili powder 1 spn
Sambar powder 1 spn
Corriander powder 1 spn
Salt as required
Corriander leaves for garnishing
Ghee 2 spn

Clean and Soak moong dhal for 10 minutes..
Dry fry wheat rava in medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes…

Heat ghee in a pressure cooker..
Add Cumin seeds and pepper…
Add in onions and curry leaves..
Fry until translucent..
Add ginger garlic paste fry until raw smells leaves..
Add in veggies and tomatoes..
Add salt..
Fry for 2 minutes..
Add fried rava and soaked moong dhal along with 5 cups of water..
Check salt and spice level..
Cover and cook in high medium flame for 2 whistle..
Once pressure is down add chopped Corriander leaves..
Mix well.. if it is little watery cook again until it thickens…
Yummy healthy wheat rava kichidi ready..
It tastes almost like bisibella bath…
Potato fry is perfect combo…

Wheat Banana Appam

Banana 2 riped
Powdered Sugar 1 cup
Wheat flour 1 cup
Cardamom powder 1/2 spn or vanilla essence 1/2 spn
Milk 1/2 to 3/4 cup
Baking powder 1/4 spn
Ghee or melted butter 2 to 3 spn

In a mixing bowl add peeled banana..
Mash it with a fork..
Add sugar mix again..
Add wheat flour,baking powder, cardamom powder and milk..
Mix it into pancake consistency..
Take a paniyaram pan ..
Add little ghee in each portion..
Pour the batter..
Cook in medium flame for 1 minute..
Flip it.. cook it for one more minute..
Cook until both side turn golden brown..
Serve hot with honey…
Can make it a pancake too..

Wheat Rava Sweet Pongal

Wheat rava 1 cup
Moong dhal 1/2 cup
Jaggery 3 cups
Water 3 cups
Milk 1 cup
Ghee 1/2 cup
Cardamom powder 1/4 spn
Few Raisin and cashew roasted in ghee

Heat a pressure cooker
Add a spn of ghee
Add moong dhal fry well
Add wheat rava fry for a minute
Add water and milk
Pressure cook it

Meanwhile melt the jaggery with little water
Once wheat rava cooked well add the melted jaggery in it
Cook in medium flame without burning
Add cardamom powder raisins and cashew
Add more ghee mix well
Once it started releasing ghee its done
Serve hot 😋😋😋

Lapsi or Broken Wheat Halwa

Broken wheat 1 cup
Sugar 1 cup
Hot Water 2 1/2 cups
Ghee 1/4 cup
Nuts for garnishing

Heat a heavy bottom pan
Add ghee
Add broken wheat
Fry in high flame until it turns pink color
Add hot water now
Cook in medium flame until water evaporates
Add in sugar
Mix well until sugar melts
Switch off the flame
Garnish with cashew, badam and pista

Lapsi ready to serve ….

Wheat Biscuit or Sakaraipaarai

Wheat flour 2 cup
Powdered sugar 1 cup or 3/4 cup
Cardamom powder 1 spn
Ghee or melted butter 2 spn
Salt a pinch
Oil for deep frying

In a mixing bowl add wheat flour, powdered sugar, ghee, salt, cardamom powder..
Mix well.. add water little by little to make smooth tight tough..
Roll the dough like 1/2 inch thick and cut into diamonds using sharp knife as shown in step 2..
Deep fry in oil medium flame until it turns brown..
Dry the oil in a tissue. Make it cool..
Store it in a air tight container for longer use..

We can do the same in All purpose flour too..

Wheat halwa easy version

Wheat halwa easy version

Wheat flour 1 cup
Sugar 2 to 3 cup
Water 7 cup
Ghee 1 cup
Cardamom powder 1/4 spn optional
Roasted cashew 8 to 10

Mix wheat flour with water without lumps..
Heat a pan
Add the wheat water stir continuously until it becomes thick.. it will take almost 5 to 7 minutes.. or little more..
Add sugar now .. stir continuously.. once the sugar combined it will become little thick consistency..
Add ghee at this stage..
Cook until ghee separate from the halwa..
Add nuts now.. add cardamom powder too..mix again..
For the color of halwa we can add edible food color or
Make sugar caramel for natural color.. its its purely optional..
For sugar caramel
Add 3 spn of sugar and a spn of water..
Cook until it turns brown.. add immediately to the halwa before adding ghee..

Yummy and easy halwa ready…
