Aloo Garlic Chilli Paratha

Wheat flour 2 cups
Milk 1/2 cups
Salt 1/8 spn
Oil as required

Boiled potato 2
Chili powder 1 spn
Grated garlic 2 spn

Warm the milk
Mix wheat flour, warm milk and salt
Make it as smooth dough
Add little oil too
Keep aside

Heat a pan
Add a spn of oil
Add garlic, chili powder and salt
Fry for a minute
Switch off the flame
Add boiled potato mix well
Stuffing ready

Now take the chapathi dough
Make a small small balls
Stuff the potato masala inside
Roll gently
Cook in chapathi pan with little oil or ghee
Make sure both sides cooked well
Cook in medium flame

Serve hot…

Spinach Pakoda

Spinach 1 cup finely chopped
Onion finely chopped 1
Ginger grated 1 spn
Garlic grated 1 spn
Besan flour 1 cup
Rice flour 1 spn or cornflour
Chilli powder 1 spn
Hing a pinch
Salt as required
Oil for deep frying

Mix all ingredients with little water
Make it as tight dough

Heat oil for deep frying
Make small balls or any shape
Fry until golden brown
Yummy spinach pakoda ready 😋😋

Green Gram Dhal Dosa (pesarattu)

Whole green gram dhal 1 cup
Raw rice 1/4 cup
Ginger 1 inch
Red chillies 3 to 4
Onion finely chopped 1 cup
Salt as required
Jeera 1/4 spn

Soak dhal and rice for 2 to 3 hrs

Grind dhal and rice with ginger, red chillies, jeera as smooth like dosa batter
Add salt

Heat dosa pan
Make thin dosa
Sprinkle onions on the top of the dosa
Sprinkle oil or ghee
Cook in medium flame
Do not flip
Just fold it and serve once its done..

Serve with chutney and sambar…

Home Made Lasagna

I tried a simple one

Lasagna sheets 5 to 6
Pasta sauce i used tomato pesto 1 bottle
Mozzarella 2 to 3 cups
Can use other cheese too

Take a oven safe baking vessel
First make a layer with tomato paste
Arrange lasagna sheets
Add tomato paste again
Spread mozzarella cheese
Again spread tomato paste
Repeat the layers

Preheat oven 400 deg F
Bake for 50 to 60 minuets

Yummy lasagna ready to serve…

Banana Cake 🍰

Banana 2
Eggs 3
Sugar 1 cup
Flour 1 cup
Baking powder 1 spn
Salt a pinch
Butter 1 stick
Vanilla essence 2 spn

Smash banana first
Add sugar and butter
Beat well until sugar melts
Add eggs beat well for 2 mins
Add flour , baking powder, salt, vanilla essence
Beat well until it turns into smooth

Preheat oven 350 deg
Grease baking tray with butter
Pour the batter into baking tray
Bake for 35 to 40 mins
After its done make it cool
Remove gently from the baking tray

Serve yummy yummy cake 🍰

Mushroom Masala Dosa

Mushroom 1 cup
Onion 1 finely chopped
Green chilies 2
Tomato 1
Ginger garlic paste 1 spn
Oil 2 spn
Turmeric powder 1/4 spn
Chili powder 1/2 spn
Garam Masala 1 spn
Salt as required
Dosa batter as required

Heat oil in a pan
Add ginger garlic paste
Add green chilies and onion fry until golden brown
Add turmeric powder, chili powder, Garam Masala and salt
Add mushrooms
Fry well and cook it for 10 mins
Add diced tomatoes and cook until oil separate from masala

Make thin dosa
Let it cook well
Stuff with mushroom masala
And serve with chutney and sambar 😋😋

Gongura PappuRC Lisha Mathew

Toor dhal 1/2 cup
Gongura leaves 1 bunch (use only the leaves)
Garlic pods 15
Onion 1
Green chilies 10 to 15
Turmeric 1/4 spn
Red chillies 2
Curry leaves few
Oil 2 spn
Mustard 1/4 spn
Urad dhal 2 spn
Salt as required
Hing 1/8 spn

Pressure cook dhal , gongura leaves,5 garlic pods, turmeric, green chilies and chopped onion with little water(1 cup)
Mash it well
Add salt

Heat oil in a pan
Add hing
Mustard seeds and urad dhal
Add red chilies and curry leaves
Add chopped garlic fry well
Add it into the cooked gongura dhal
Check the salt

Yummy gongura pappu ready 😋😋

Kongu Goat Gravy

Kongu Goat Gravy

Goat meat 1/2 kg
Red Onion 1 finely chopped
Tomato 2 finely chopped
Curry leaves few
Turmeric 1/2 spn
Chili powder 1 spn
Salt as required

Roast and grind

Poppy seeds 1 spn
Fennel seeds 2 spn
Whole pepper 1 spn
Cinnamon 1 inch
Cloves 2
Ginger 2 inch
Garlic 7 to 8 pods
Curry leaves few
Red chillies 4
Red Onion 1 chopped
Corriander seeds 1 1/2 spn
Jeera 2 spn
Coconut grated 1/4 cup
Oil 3 spn

First heat a spn of oil in a pan
Add the items one by one to roast and grind except coconut
Fry well until onions turn brown
Remove from flame
Cool completely
Add coconut and grind it into smooth paste

Heat oil in a pressure cooker or pan
Add onions and curry leaves
Fry until onions translucent
Add in tomatoes and turmeric little salt
Fry until tomatoes cooked well
Add goat pieces
Fry for five mins
Add the coconut masala
Add water too
Cook until goat cooked well
Will take 35 to 40 mins if cooking in pan
We can do pressure cooker also
Add less water if using pressure cooker

Finally garnish with coriander leaves

Yummy goat curry ready to serve
This will go with anything rice or idli dosa too…

Lapsi or Broken Wheat Halwa

Broken wheat 1 cup
Sugar 1 cup
Hot Water 2 1/2 cups
Ghee 1/4 cup
Nuts for garnishing

Heat a heavy bottom pan
Add ghee
Add broken wheat
Fry in high flame until it turns pink color
Add hot water now
Cook in medium flame until water evaporates
Add in sugar
Mix well until sugar melts
Switch off the flame
Garnish with cashew, badam and pista

Lapsi ready to serve ….
