Instant Peda

Milk powder 1 cup
Powdered sugar 1/4 cup
Milk 1/4 cup
Ghee 3 to 4 spn

Heat ghee in a pan
Add all ingredients.. mix continuously until it becomes thicken.. use high medium flame..
Make desired shape once it cools a bit..
Make shapes when its little warm..
Store it..
Yummy milk peda ready..

One Pot Maggie Masala

Maggie 1 pocket
Carrot thin cut 1 cup
Broccoli 1/2 cup
Cabbage 1/2 cup
Choice of any veggies..
Spring onions 1 bunch
Onion 1 finely chopped
Tomato 1 finely chopped
Garlic 1 spn finely chopped
Ginger 1 inch finely chopped
Chilli powder 1 spn
Garam masala 1 spn
Salt as required
Butter 2 spn

Heat butter in a pan
Add ginger and garlic..fry until golden brown..
Add in onions..
Add veggies one by one..
Use high flame for sauteing..
Add tomatoes.. fry well.
Add spice powders and Maggie masala powder..
Add salt and 2 cups water..
Water depends on how much Maggie we are using..
When it start boiling add Maggie..
Mix well until Maggie cooks well..
Once all water evaporated add the spring onions..
Give a fry..
Serve hot…

Stuffed pita bread

Pita bread slices 2
Onion finely chopped 1 cup
Tomato finely chopped 1 cup
Capsicum finely chopped 1 cup
Grated cheese 1 cup any type
Salt if needed (i didn’t add salt)
Ghee for toasting

Mix onion, tomato, capsicum and cheese in a bowl..
Open pita bread and stuff inside gently..
Heat a dosa pan
Add ghee
Toast the stuffed pita breads in medium flame..
Press gently..
Flip it so that it cook evenly..
Serve hot..
No need for any side dish.. can spread chutneys for flavor if needed..
My friend suggested this.. came out really well.

Raw banana chips in Airfryer

Raw banana 1 thinly sliced
Chilli powder 1 spn
Salt as required
Hing 1/4 spn
Oil 2 spn (i used olive oil)

Mix all ingredients in a bowl..
Air fry 300 deg for 10 minutes..
Flip or shake it..
Keep again 300 deg for 10 more minutes..
Adjust temperature and time depends on your airfryer..
Crispy yummy banana fry ready..
Keeping medium temperature helps nice crispy texture.. otherwise it may burn..

Pineapple Payasam

Pineapple 2 cup
Sugar 1 cup
Milk 200 ml
Water 100 ml
Vermicelli/semiya 1/4 cup
Roasted nuts any choice 2 to 3 spn
Ghee 2 spn

Puree the pineapple with blender without chunks..
Heat a pan
Add 5 to 6 spn of sugar with little water..
Let it melt completely..
Add the pineapple puree.. cook completely until it becomes a semi solid paste..
Make it cool.. keep aside..

Heat a pan
Add 1 cup water.. when it boils add roasted vermicelli..once it half cooked add the milk..
Let it boil .. add sugar now.. adjust sugar as per taste..
Add the roasted nuts..
Make it cool..

Once both cooled completely mix together..
Make sure both pineapple and the payasam cooled completely..
Yummy pineapple flavored payasam ready..
Can do with other fruits too with same method.. vermicelli can be replaced with sabudhana too..

Wheat halwa easy version

Wheat halwa easy version

Wheat flour 1 cup
Sugar 2 to 3 cup
Water 7 cup
Ghee 1 cup
Cardamom powder 1/4 spn optional
Roasted cashew 8 to 10

Mix wheat flour with water without lumps..
Heat a pan
Add the wheat water stir continuously until it becomes thick.. it will take almost 5 to 7 minutes.. or little more..
Add sugar now .. stir continuously.. once the sugar combined it will become little thick consistency..
Add ghee at this stage..
Cook until ghee separate from the halwa..
Add nuts now.. add cardamom powder too..mix again..
For the color of halwa we can add edible food color or
Make sugar caramel for natural color.. its its purely optional..
For sugar caramel
Add 3 spn of sugar and a spn of water..
Cook until it turns brown.. add immediately to the halwa before adding ghee..

Yummy and easy halwa ready…

Thenkuzhal muruku

Rice flour 2 cup
Urad dhal flour 1/2 cup
Roasted channa dhal flour 1/4 cup
(Pottukadalai)
Ajwan or cumin seeds 1 spn
Sesame seeds 2 spn optional
Salt as required
Oil for deep frying

Mix all ingredients except oil in a mixing bowl..
Add 2 spn hot oil..
Add water little by little.. knead it until it comes to muruku consistency..
Not hard not too soft..
Make desired shape and Deep fry in oil until bubbles stop from oil..
Store it..
I crushed the muruku to store in cookie jar..
Can make proper muruku shape …
